Hey, I’m Albert Ahn, running for the First-Year Councillor position at Victoria College. I was born in Vancouver and raised in Korea until returning to Canada after overcoming skin cancer, but many of you already know me as “the guy from the Vic group chat.” As an experienced leader, leading a first-responders organization by the Emergency Services Institute of Canada, being a youth facilitator for the Canadian Red Cross, and as the Upper-Burwash South-House Floor-Council President, I’m well-suited to take on an administrative position for VUSAC and be the voice for everybody. Hello Victoria! I'm Andriy and I'm running to represent you as your First Year Councillor. I'm a long-time Torontonian who's experienced the inequalities of the Ontario Education System first-hand.

Hey! I'm all about creating an environment that celebrates the different cultures we have at Vic, as well as furthering our sustainability initiatives and advocating for subsidized housing for commuters! I’ve got three years’ experience in student government and have been in several leadership positions- so I can guarantee I have the experience to properly represent you in VUSAC. Transparency, communication and respect is incredibly important to me, and I’m friendly and always open to chat so if you see me around feel free to talk to me about my campaign!

Hey everyone, I’m Justin Liou, a first-year social science student with a goal of entering the political science program. With numerous years of volunteer experience in both participating in and leading various types of groups, I feel confident that I can contribute to VUSAC as a first-year councillor. From helping to organize events, to pitching YOUR ideas to improve the Vic campus, and supporting various Vic clubs and commissions, I’ll try my best to represent you as a student and reflect communal values! I’m Logan, a first-year Vickie going to Rotman! I believe VUSAC has incredible potential and I'm hoping to capitalize on that. With fun ideas like movie nights at Isabel Bader, more poker nights, and reintroducing the Vic Cafe!



I also have more policy-based ideas to implement such as studying clubs' carbon footprints, mandating that all events be publicized within 1 week of beginning, and holding office hours at least once a week!

Hello, I’m Richelle! For those of you that don’t know me, I’m a first-year social sciences student running for VUSAC councillor. Since a young age, I have always been passionate about politics, having worked for the provincial government, the Mayor’s office and in the community. As a musician, an athlete, and a commuter, I hope to broaden the voice of first-years at the VUSAC table. I look forward to facilitating enhanced support, through creating commuter-oriented programs and creating fun events like stand-up comedy nights. My name is Sophie, and I’m running to be one of your first-year councilors! I’m super passionate about mental health, and I'm hoping to start a variety of related initiatives while working with the Mental Wellness Commission, (check my instagram for more details!)
I’ve always loved being involved in the community. In high school I was on student council and a student advisor to my school board (plus some clubs), while working at my local health unit in chronic disease prevention.

As a second-year international student, my active involvement in events last year, such as the Lunar New Year celebration and bubble tea chats, provided me with invaluable experiences in event coordination and ignited my passion for contributing to the vibrant Vic community. My name is Aiko Reis, and I'm a third-year studying Health and Disease, Physiology, and Immunology. I have decided to run for the upper-year councillor position because I greatly admire the different commissions in VUSAC and the work they do.
