Student Projects

Feel like something is missing form Vic? Do you have an awesome idea but lack the capital to make it a reality?

The Student Projects Fund is a unique aspect to Victoria College – a $40 000 fund that any student can apply to in order to improve campus life.
The ideas are numerous. Over the years students – some with experience in clubs, and some just with an awesome idea – have come to Student Projects and started something amazing. Whether you want to put on a play or start a recording studio (Vic Records), as long as you’re a student with an idea, then you’ve come to the right place!
The following have all been created thanks to the help of Student Projects:
  • Air hockey table for the Cat’s Eye
  • VUSAC clothing store
  • College drum kit
  • First aid equipment
  • Victor, our beloved Victoria College mascot
  • The bi-annual wine & cheese symposiums with Professor Gooch
  • The Goose, Vic’s short-story compilation journal
The Student Projects Fund is a unique aspect of Victoria College in that almost no other schools have something similar. You can apply for money for all kinds of projects, and all you have to do is fill out an application!
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail ( the Chairperson of the Student Projects Fund. Or, check out the Facebook page at Hope to hear your idea soon!
